floor joist not appearing

Hi, i have the home disigner architectural 2014 and on a building im disigning, the floor joist is not showing between the first and second floor or the foundation and first floor. in the defualt settings there is no framming setting?? i could really use the help i have a dead line by this monday!! please help

Go tools>display settings>layer display options and be sure you have floor framing display checked.
