HD Architectural 2012 Win8 3D works Win8.1 3D does NOT work

Wife has HD Architectural 2012 11.3.1.6x32 (which I think is the final update) and an ATI HD 5450 graphics adapter

Her 3D camera view works with Windows 8.0 but will not work with ANY driver with Windows 8.1 (at least I made a drive backup before installing 8.1 to be able to go back 8.0)

I am thinking of replacing her ATI card with a PNY nVidia GTX 650 card... does anyone have any experience with that card and HDA2012 and Win8.1 ???

Or, to work with Win8.1, is it REQUIRED to upgrade to HDA 2014?

Hi John,
I was in a similar position... I also have HDA 2014. I purchased a new 2GB XFX HD7750 adapter and upgraded to Windows 8.1 and the 3D camera views were not working. I had the latest ATI driver installed. Last night I installed the latest BETA driver, version 14.1, and now the 3D camera views work perfectly. I'd recommend trying the beta driver before spending the cash on a new card. Hope this helps,
