    No Roof on Bay Window.

I cannot figure out how to get a roof onto my bay window. I have tried deleting the roof and rebuilding it, making invisible walls, and nothing will work. Originally while playing around with the program, I put on a bay window and there was a roof. Later when I went back and placed a bay window on my wall, there was no roof. I've tried everything I can think of. Any Ideas? I have attached a picture of the problem I am having.

When you place such an object, the placing of it does not automatically rebuild roofs (you have to order that to happen each time unless you have "Automatically Build Roofs" checked in the "Build Roof Dialog".

Check the dialog box settings for the bay window object. It is very odd that you got the result that you did. Do you have Home Designer Pro or something else?

I really appreciate the quick reply...I am using the Home Designer Suite 2014. It's really odd cause if i start over with a new plan and draw up a quick 2 story house and place a bay window on the first floor, It will automatically build a roof over my bay window. However when I place the same window on my existing plan that I've been working on, there is no roof over the window. I have tried it with the "automatically build Roofs" checked and unchecked. Neither worked. Also The only options I have when I double click the window are "Use Existing Roof, Extend Existing Roof, Force Rectangular Roof, or Suppress Dimensions." I have tried all of those and haven't gotten any change.... Feeling Confused.
