Dashed Line missing to line up walls

New to forum still learning program, quite different than AutoCAD. For some reason when starting to draw a rectangular there used to a dashed line pop up to let you know you have reached your alignment with the other line. It has disappeared and I cannot figure out how to get it back. Does anyone know how to re-activate this.

    Using Home Designer Pro 2014

    Thanks in advance

Those are called "Object Snaps", they are turned on and off under "Edit - Preferences - Edit - Snap Properties - Object Snaps", each one of them is explained in the Reference Manual and Help Files.

Thanks, for some reason they were unchecked. When I asked my son he said Oh yeah I did that.
