Wall Materials not shown in material list

When I select "calculate materials from room" I do not get any wall materials listed on the materials list. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? Also, is there anyway to get a quick readout of wall area - can I select a room and click somewhere to see the wall sqft?

Well, I just found somewhere where it says wall materials are not shown in the materials list. Its hard to believe they designed a building program that doesn't report the wall area? Crazy...
