    Bay window without wall

I am trying to figure out how to place a bay window in a kitchen without the walls. The window is a single unit, but HD draws it as a wall pop-out with three individual windows. This is not what I want. There don't seem to be any window catalog's available to install. What do I do?

Post a photo or image of the Architectural look that you need and want, so others can know with certainty exactly what you mean, need and want. We also need to know what software title and version you are using as that can be a limiting factor in itself.

    David,

I have tried to attach a couple of pictures of the Pella window I am looking to use. I have Home Designer 14 running on Parrallels and Windows 8.1 on a Retina Mac (OS X 10.9) w/ 16GB RAM. The problems lies in that the program treats a bay window as 3 individual windows in a framed wall pop-out, not a single built window, installed as a single unit. I looked in the browser, but the only door or window catalog to download is a Therm-Tru door catalog.

I was able to insert a JPEG in a pass-through window opening which should suffice for the floor plan and plan check submittal, but I would like to know if there is another work around. The JPEG only shows on a top down plan view, and not in any side views.

Go to Trimble 3D Warehouse and do a "Search" to see if that particular Pella Window unit has been modeled there. If so, import the symbol and place it in a corresponding-shaped door opening in your plan.
