Can i input the measurements for the walls instead of drawing?
I am frustrated with the drawing tool and can't always get the measurement I want for the walls. Can I just put in the measurement somehwhere? I have Home Design 2014.
Thanks!

Keep zoomed in on your walls so you can draw them "close" to what you want ,don't try being to accurate it will frustrate you, then RC (right click) the wall >Open Object> and change the Wall length in the dialog box (DBX) as needed , if you haven't drawn it straight you can also change the wall angle in the same DBX ..get to know what 0,90,180,270 etc degrees means too . Do this as you go with each wall as once you "close" the walls and it becomes a "room" it is much harder to do ...usually the last wall is already correct if you set the others up right. The software is designed to draw left to right as well , if you go around the wrong way the exterior wall eg brick will be on the inside of the house , if you mess one up use the RC again on the wall and "reverse layers" in the drop down menu.
