    Jeffery, the "Baseline" value that is stated in Roof Dialog Boxes is not the same thing as "Plate Height" as one might think. the baseline height is a point directly on the surface of the roof plane object along a line that is co-linear with the outer edge of the framing or structural layer of the wall over which the roof plane builds, in other words, a particular point in space.
