Barrel ceiling in hallway

I am new to Home Designer Software. I have HD Pro 2014. I'm trying to create a barrel ceiling in a hallway and don't see an option to change the shape the ceiling. Can anyone point me in the right direction thanks.

The help index says that Pro can do custom ceilings, so you should check that out in your user guide or reference manual.

The program I have does not have that capability, so I would have to improvise. I could use the arc hood (architectural/appliances/hoods/large/arc hood) with it's height set to 8",
and then raise the whole unit to ceiling height. I would then add crown molding (sized and raised the right height on the walls) to conceal the bottom edge of the hood.

The other alternative is the 3d warehouse, or make an arched symbol in the sketchup program.

Barrel ceilings are a Chief only thing AFAIK. you can do custom Ceilings in Pro but only flat , but I think Pro can do Barrel roofs can't it ? although I think you have to make the Barrel out of multiple narrow roof planes eg 12" wide with the custom roof plan tool. There is a custom ceiling plane tool too but I haven't needed to play with it.

Yep found the (highly involved) tutorial for roof's might work too for ceilings but JoAnn's idea is looking mighty quick compared to that......
