Double doors less than 4ft wide
I have Home Designer Architectural 2014. I have an occasional need to design an interior double door that is less than four feet in total width (i.e. entry into a bathroom) with each door less than 24" wide, but have been unable to find any option on my software to make a double door less than 4' wide (it always shows it as a single door). It does not display correctly when I try to place two separate doors side by side. Any help would be appreciated!

I don't have your software, but you should be able to open the door dbx and after you've chosen the type from the library or other, and set the size go to options and choose "double door" from that dialogue.

I'm guessing that HDA14 doesn't have the 'double door' option.
Is placing two doors side by side causing you problems because there is a wall/casing that is showing between them?
Solution: Tool bar EDIT/default/plan/check mark window/door casing ignored when resizing.
NOW try moving the doors together until there is nothing separating them.JoAnn

Bob E, thank you, but JoAnn is correct in that I don't have the double door option ... but JoAnn, it worked!! Thanks! I'm sure I've tried that before & ended up with a "stile" between the doors, but not this time!

Well I did end up with a stile between the doors. What did you do to eliminate it?

Try holding down the control key when you slide your doors together.
And remember, the plan default setting must be done for each plan.JoAnn
