House plan in Home designer suite 2014 add to AutoCad plot survey

I need to take a house plan from Home Designer Suite 2014 and transfer it to a plot survey created in AutoCAD. Can this be done? Thank you Frank

In terms of a 2D export of plan views as a .dxf file, yes (File - Export - Current View - DXF) but keep in mind that Suite 2014 exports AutoCAD 2014 so you might have trouble importing that file into an older version of AutoCAD. If your AutoCAD is the latest version, you should have no problem with that.

If you have any trouble you can send me your file and I can then save it to an earlier AutoCAD Version using Chief Architect Premier (which allows me to choose which AutoCAD version I want to save to, Chief Premier can also save .plan files to .dwg (AutoCAD native) files as well, selective to any version of AutoCAD.
