Interior perspective, frustrated novice
Home Designer Pro 17.2 Novice; Can't seem to get into what used to be called "doll house view".
How do I get to that view and how do I pick a position withing the "doll house view" to get a perspective.

The doll house camera is its own camera type. If you wanted a specific viewpoint from within a room without upper or lower floor elements showing, you would use the "Floor Camera", select that camera type and then left-click where you wished to establish a viewpoint and then drag in the direction you wanted to view.
Each camera tool type has specific characteristics and uses.

Not sure what HD Pro 17.2 is? did you mean 2014? maybe 7.2 ? think it has always been the same though......
while in Plan view, Doll house view is one of the options on the Camera icon or Menu>3D>Perspective Camera views. It is not possible to pick your location to view from , you have to move the camera once the view opens to where you want to be....
