Re-Install 3DHome 3.0 Deluxe errors

I have, for a long while, used 3DHome 3.0 Deluxe on my Windows 7 laptop. I had to download d3drm.dll to do so. I recently had to reload Windows and have not been able to install the program again because I have been unable to load the above dll. If anyone can assist me in this issue, suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I haven't upgraded because I like the simplicity of 3.0 deluxe for DIY projects.

Surprised to hear you ever got it to work on Windows 7 at all. I couldn't even get my Home Designer Deluxe version 7.0 program to work right on that newer OS. An upgrade probably is in order, and it looks like the newer version will be able to open files started in that older program.

I too am surprised it runs , but there are numerous links on Google and help for the mentioned file, seems like a common problem when old versions of DirectX are needed

the 2nd link contains a clean file (Avira and Avast) can't post it here but test with your own antivirus/malware program too once downloaded.
