Adding a second floor to an attached garage
I've searched high and low for ideas on how to add a second story / floor to an attached garage. I can't seem to get the program to add the second floor to the garage without it adding a second floor to the entire plan, what am I doing wrong ?
I use Home Designer Pro 10.Last edited by BACLLC; 04-30-2014 at 04:31 AM.

You always guide the software to a result, you never follow or expect the software to lead to a result, you do the guiding and controlling.

When you build a new floor, you have the choice to either derive it from the floor below, or create a new blank floor.
If you choose the first option, just delete the walls you don't need.
If you choose the second, turn on the Reference Display so you can see where the walls below are on Floor 1, and draw in just the walls you need.Kat >^..^<
