Transition from Clerestory Roof to Shed Roof?

The post regarding building a Clerestory roof was quite enlightening and got me past that road block. Now I'm trying to incorporate that into the remainder of the roof that is a shed design. I was able to hack something by using an invisible wall to 'firewall' the shed roof from the Clerestory to keep the Clerestory from suddenly becoming some horrible Clerestory/gable construct. When I shove the separately drawn shed section to the other, the roof overhang intersects with the adjoining gable end wall, messing up the geometry and other stuff I'm sure.

not 100 % sure what you are trying to get actually , the After pic is what I would expect in that situation i think , is the Gable roof not meant to be centred on that portion of the main building? when you "shoved it over" you haven't quite lined it up by the look of the top wall in the plan view. but not sure that will effect the outcome.

is the issue that you don't see walls in the "hacked" 3D image? that is probably cos you use invisible walls right?

The left portion is expected to retain the Clerestory roofline and I'm trying to get the right side to align with the left without disrupting the left-side roofline. The right-side posted above was configured to be a shed, but it forced it's roof plane onto the left.

In this you can see the Clerestory roof detail but when the right side is attached, it becomes the After as posted earlier.

I'm attempting to draw out the house as it currently stands.

Here's a version sketched out with Paint Click image for larger version.

ok now I get it , I thought the celestory windows were in the shed roof facing right but I couldn't see them in your "After" 3d image....

yes the room he "shoved over" is a gable

and I think the "shove over" is the issue , I just drew this as a L shaped house , assigned the gable walls and pitches as needed , then added the two internal walls per the Celestory Tut.
    and it generated fine....
