Solar Shadows

I would like to determine if a large tree will cast shadow on the location I've chosen for solar panels. It doesn't appear the program casts shadows from plants, however. Any specific suggestions?

More generally regarding solar shadows, I've set my North Pointer and Sun Angle. From this point, what is the best way to set up so shadows can be 3D rendered at 1 hour intervals on a particularly day? The manual is has me a bit baffled, so step-by-step help appreciated.

Trees don't cast shadows unless they are the 3D symbol type instead of the 2D image type. You could try and use one of the 3D trees instead.

Thanks. 3D tree worked (although selection is limited). Also, I was only able to get a height greater than 502 using in the elevation view.
