Cathedral Ceiling - How to
In Home Designer Suite, how do you create a cathedral ceiling in a room? I'm defining a cathedral as one that is sloped on two sides and flat on the top.

If you open up the room dialog, you can uncheck the box for Ceiling Over This Room. You will then see the underside of the roof. The other way to do it (which may work better in your case), is to build the roof first, and then raise the ceiling height for the room. This should give you the flat spot and show the underside of the roof where the sloped ceiling is. This won't be perfect if your cathedral ceiling doesn't match the roof pitch, but it is the only way I know of to do it.
I think the Pro version has custom ceiling tools.
