Error Message: Buffer Overrun detected

When I opened a plan I had closed yesterday without problem, I received the following message when I attempted to edit it:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Buffer Overrun detected!
A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated.

Any ideas of what is going on? This is the first time I have seen this and it's a fairly new plan that I have been working on.
