Floor camera does not show floor below?

This is a real quizzler.

I designate a fully-enclosed, second floor area as "open below".
Ceiling and Roof Above are both checked.

I use floor camera on second floor and look down the opening. The first floor floor is missing. See terrain background.

I use the floor camera on first floor and look up. The second floor ceiling and roof are missing. See blue sky and clouds.

3D overview shows roof as designed.

All of the editable sample programs exhibit the same problem.

I designed my first house with v.4.0 and never had this problem.


Any help is appreciated.

This isn't a problem, the program is working as designed. As you have stated it's a FLOOR camera. Look at your documentation on the differences between the difference cameras.

Floor Camera - Creates a 3D view of the current floor only. Nothing above the ceiling or below the floor is displayed. It is faster to generate a floor camera view than a full camera because less of the model is calculated.
