layout and roof truss display help

Hi
I have 2 problems:

1) in my plan I have roof trusses and some polylines which is supposed to show floor heating.
My problem is the roof trusses displays on cad layer not when checking to display roof trusses - is this normal?

2) when I send plan to layout and choose to display CAD default layer my polyline do not display - is this normal?

version Pro 6.04

I just check my Pro 7,and it doesn't look like you can..
Don't know how they got changed..
Maybe some one will have an answer or you could call support.
With Chief you can do that,sorry
