My library images have disappeared

My library images have suddenly disappeared.

Images no longer appear at the bottom of the window after clicking on a library object

The library browser worked correctly the first few times I used it so I do not understand why it has suddenly stopped working.

I (foolishly, I guess, since I had no problem that needed solving) followed the instructions at the bottom of Article 723 about "undocking" the Library Browser from the side of the screen, and now it's stuck at the top. It's nearly useless there, because if you make it deep enough to see the images there's nothing much left of the rest of the screen. I can't figure out any way to unstick it and get it back on the side of the screen where it belongs. Help me, please!

What I was really trying to figure out, when I made this mistake, was how to find and use bonus library items that I had downloaded.

If the library browser is docked at the top of your screen, you should see the little x to close it to the left of the Library browser tab and directly below that there is a kind of double bar. Somewhere along that double bar is where you'll want to left click and hold down to drag the library browser towards the bottom right until it becomes undocked. Once it does, you can just move it to the right side of the screen to redock it there.

(I wish that the cursor changed when you clicked on that double bar to let you know you have it selected!)

I clicked on that double bar like 65, 70, 80 times! and FINALLY, yay! the library browser was FREE! Thank you for rescuing it (and me) from bondage!

i(foolishly) also moved my library broser around but thanks to a search on here got it back after 10+ clicks

Thank-you for the answers to this post about the library being stuck at the top of the screen and the screenshot explanation. This was driving me crazy. I don't even know how it got stuck there to start with.

Same for me, I don't know how it got there but it is fixed now.
