porch and bay window roofs

I just received my HD pro 7.0 and began designing a house this weekend and I came across a few items I cannot seem to work through by myself:

The first is my real problem child: I would like to put a roof on the 2 story 30 degree, 7' bay window that I've created. The bay window is on the gable end of my house. I want the roof to be directly over the window and only be probably a couple feet high. I apologize for no pictures but my computer with HD on it is not connected to the internet yet, the best I could do would be to do some rough sketching and attach later.

The second item is I have a wrap around porch on my house and need to put a roof on it. I admit I didn't spend alot of time trying to fix this because I thought I had read seen thread about it somewhere on here and thought I'd just find it and follow the directions, but now I can't find it. Can someone either direct me to that thread or tell me again how to put a roof on porch.
