IMAGINiT and Envisioneer?

I found this very long thread over at Chieftalk that discussed, among other things, the prospects of Envisioneer (or ENVI, as it's being called). Maybe in 2 years ...

I checked out the CA X1 "Lite" comparison sheet. Seems about as capable as HD Pro, though it's the newer version. The big thing on my wish list is raytracing. That and the ability to make my own objects. Hmmm. Maybe I just need to save my pennies and buy CA X1 (or X2).
