    sinking basement into the terrain in BHG Home Designer 6.0

    Hey yall
    Howdy from Utah...i'm just kinda curious as to how do i sink the basement into the terrain so its level? below is an image i attached tha shows what it looks like now. Any help would be greatly appreciated . Thanks yall!

    That looks normal to me. There is usually a bit of the foundation above grade to prevent wood eating critters from getting to the tasty stuff.

    You will need to adjust the terrain to actually 'lower' the basement into the ground. Which version are you using?
    Edit: Never mind that last question. The full title of the thread just sunk in.

    If it is the door height that is the issue, you could place a step in front of it.

    I think with that version,it's like the rest..Click on the edge of the terrain in plan view and you should be able to open and adjust it..
    But Root is right,it looks good now..
    With that door your ceiling should be taller..
