Why is there wall material in my window?
My night for weird problems... and this didn't go away when I restarted the program
I am installing the window wall on my gable end. First three windows went fine, fourth showed up with wall material inside it. I tried deleting it and copying the window that I know is good below it- same problem. I tried rebuilding walls/floors/ceilings- no change. Any clues as to what's going on here?Last edited by crisw; 08-12-2007 at 07:18 AM.

OK, tried again this morning- now I am getting a wall opening on the hypotenuse of the triangle. I've tried several times and I'm constantly getting this as soon as I set the shape to triangle- a square is OK. As you can see from the pic, moving the window doesn't help. Aaargh.

It's a cathedral ceiling, so "Ceiling Above this Room" is unchecked. I can check the ridge height for you if that's helpful.

HD Pro with all the latest updates. I'll try the ceiling trick and let you know if it works. I am also going to try deleting and re-creating that wall.

I have had big problems with that in the past. This indicates two surfaces in the wall and depending which way the wind blows, the software shows one or the other, or a blend.
