Bringing Roof down from second floor
Hello....I can't figure out how to get my roof to go from my second floor down to the first on the garage. The second floor isn't a full second floor, but rather a "bonus room" that is more like the attic of the garage. Can someone please help?
Thanks

What software are you using? I'm not sure what your problem is? Is your bonus room creating a full attic and roof above it? Can you post a picture?

I'm curious to see your configuration.
Is your attic above your garage or is the bonus room overlapping a structure of your house??? Not sure I understand.Last edited by Delta_P; 10-13-2007 at 12:07 PM.

As Philip suggested, you really need to provide a rough sketch of your config.
Questions:
is your garage a detached garage?
Do you have a basement with 2 floors + attic?

As a guess as to your problem, attics cannot be rooms- you have to create an actual second story for the "attic room."

Export your picture (JPEG format) note the location where you save it
Make sure it's less than 100 KB (otherwise the forum won't take it)
Go back to home talk
Click on your thread to open it
scroll down and click on post reply
type your text
scroll down until you see "manage Attachments"
Click on it
Click on browse
Browse to where you saved your image
click upload
you are done

If you save it as JPG instead of JPEG, the forum will accept uploads of up to 200 KB.
