Possible to move entire house or flower bed as object?

I wasn't sure how to search this question.

Is it possible to move the entire house or a flowerbed as a single object?

We spent some time last week moving stakes on the homesite to try to get the optimum placement and orientation. I have most of my design in HD Pro 7 to scale for the landscape and would like to move and/or orient the house and flowerbeds according to "real-world" conditions.

Is this possible in HD Pro 7? If so, could someone please enlighten me or guide me to a post of tutorial?

On your tool bar, under Edit tab, select "Edit Area", draw marque around building, then you can relocate everything that is within the marquee.


Also, your search would have been under "edit area"; there is several discussions which may suit your needs.
