    Loft or Balcony on second floor without walls overlooking the first floor

    How do I make a loft area on the second floor? I've found the railings...and now I need to create a floor without walls. Help

    Sue-assuming this works with your soft ware (and it should) go to second floor, outline the area of the loft with railings / walls or invisible walls etc., then what ever area is left that you will be looking down into, make it "open below" in the room dbx. That should work.

    Hi Sue
    You can name a room=Open below=and it will be open to below..
    The room has to be connected to an outside wall in some way.
    Use invisible walls in necessary..

    Thanks Allen!

    Just registered and logged on and found an answer to my question on creating a second floor overlook. This software is excellent (I've been using another program, but switched thank goodness). Thanks again and I'll be back to visit.
