Copying Plan to a new PL1

Is there any way to copy a floor plan from one PL1 document to another in Home Designer Suite 6.0? I created my terrain contours in a blank document and now I want to add a floor plan created previously.

I've tried multiple selection marquee (shift-drag) and Move Area selection marquee but neither of these selections allow copy/paste. I've tried to select the wall segments sequentially using typical Windows selections (ctrl-click, shift-click, etc.) but haven't found anything that works.

I see that I can export DXF files but apparently can't import them.

The ability to copy from one plan to another in Suite is limited. You can copy fixtures and other items that you place but there is not a copy function available for walls. One way you might try is to export a picture then import it into the new plan and trace the walls over it.

In the Pro version you can do this by using the edit area function.
