    Angle corner cabinets

In Home designer suite 7 I have a wall in the kitchen that makes a 45 degree turn, runs 3.5 feet, and ends. I am trying to run the base and upper cabinets into the corner, so that the cabinet fronts continue flat with the main wall, but the back of the cabinets angle 45 degress to taper to a point. Is this possible?
    Thanks

I assume you are talking about an inside 45 degree corner and not an outside one. As far as I know, it is not common to build cabinets that are actually tapered back at an angle to meet in the corner. Most often, you see people use standard cabinets that are installed with the front corners meeting and dead space in the back. The good news is that the program makes it pretty easy to build with standard cabinets and it will then automatically create a counter top to cover this situation. Regardless of how you actually build the cabinets, it should look pretty much the same from the front and the top.

If this is not what you are trying to do, then maybe you can post a picture with your description.

    45 degree corner cabinet

    Hi Kilgour.
In your example, I would be trying to extend the front (left hand) side of the upper cabinet straight down until it hits the yellow highlighted wall, about in the lower corner of the other 2' cabinet module.

bobh-is the attached more like what you are after? If it is you can't build it with suite's cabinet tools. I built this with suite but I used soffits to make the front end closures. In the real world it would have to be custom built by a cabinet shop, or you could probably fake it the way I did with plywood that could be stained to match the rest of the cabinet.

You are probably trying to do what I have done in the attached. With cabinet tools I made smaller base and wall cabinets. With the Ctrl key down I dragged them into place, and sized them until they looked about right in the elevation. As you can see they look pretty good, but it does not appear that you can build the special shaped top you need. It might be possible with some kind of polyline but I'm not sure. I had a hard enough time building a special top with custom top tool that is in the Pro software. As you can see there is a hole in the top. maybe Allen can help us figure it out, but Suite does not have the covert polyline tool so we can't make it a top, and it does not have the custom counter top tool either.
