Using the attic space
Thanks for the help with my previous issues with error reports.
How do I access the attic space. I want to put windows in the gable walls.
I am trying to retain the dimensions of the roof space with the roof starting at the top of the exterior walls and rising at a 22 degree pitch in the middle
I've tried doing it by creating a new floor but the walls are too high.
I'm a eager beginner and bumping into a lot of brick walls!!!!!!
Hanging out for a solution
Stewie.

Hi Stewie,
I hope your previous issues have all been take care of.
I think you want to build a 1-1/2 story house. Follow the instruction on this link for starters. http://www.homedesignersoftware.com/...?faqNumber=358
Stewie, I know from an earlier post that you are using Home Designer 7.09 and as a beginner we are all willing to help you.
It will be very helpful to all of us if you would put the name of your Product and it's version in your signature.
Please go to the UserCP (User Control Panel) and click on Edit Signature under Setting & Options. In the Edit Signature window enter the Product Name and Version of the BH&G software you are using.
If you aren't sure about how to edit your signature please click on the following link and read post #3 http://hometalk.homedesignersoftware...ead.php?t=5357
Thanks for visiting the forum and have a Happy Holidays!

I think so too!
I wish Rick and I were next door neighbors-but he wouldn't like where I live, and I wouldn't like where he is right now (LOL)
