How do you reconfigure the Library Browser view?
We just installed the Home Designer 7.07b and have been playing with it for hours but some how we are unable to see the items (the pictures of the objects) in the Library Browser view. We have right-clicked, closed, moved, dragged, etc, etc and cannot seem to change the view.... we aren't sure how we got here and don't know how to bring the item view back.....

First, click on Edit>Preferences and try to set like thumbnail 1. My browser is set up on the right side of my page but it looks similar to yours. (see 2nd thumbnail) Make certain the the Hide Selection Pane and the Hide Prewiev Pane boxes are uncheked in Preferences.
The objects don't appear until you start "drilling down" in a category. (see thumbnails 3, 4 & 5)
Double click on a category in the Library Browser Window. Then double-click again on a sub-level. Countinue this until you find the object you are looking for.Last edited by daydreamer; 12-26-2007 at 07:16 AM.

Rick's advice will probably only help you if you have Pro. First, check out this help article which will explain how to get the previews back:

If you want to change where the browser is, top or side, you need to click on the double bar part of the window (next to the x button) and drag HARD away from the top of the screen. Then just drop it on the side of the screen.
