Foundation wall by deck too high
Using HD Pro 7. New user alert. Designing a single story house with deck. I have attached a picture showing the location of the problem wall. When I build the foundation the system makes the foundation wall next to the deck a couple inches higher than the rest of the foundation walls. It must be realted to the floor depth of the deck verses the floor thickness of the house, but I have been unable to fix it.
Any ideas?

Hey Dave,
Double-click on the deck and adjust the floor height. Set it something like -12 and see what you get.
It's a small world, I lived in Vancouver in the early 70's around 55th and Lincoln Ave.Last edited by daydreamer; 01-20-2008 at 11:09 AM.

Hi Rick,
That did it. Set floor height to -1 3/4" and it looks great.
Thanks for the super quick reply.
We moved back to the NW in 1999 and live out on the East side around 164th and Mill Plain. This area would have been grass and rabbits in the 70s.

Dave,
No doubt about the grass and rabbits.
Glad I was able to help you. Have a good weekend, and keep coming back.
How about putting your product name and version in your signature?

Thanks Rick for the suggestion on the signature. That will keep me from forgetting to include it someday.
