    Extra 6" on wall elevation

I just bought Pro. And I'm trying to dimension wall elevations for a bathroom. I set the "Room Specifications" to Floor Height of 0, the Ceiling Height of 90 and the Lowered Ceiling Height of 90. My problem is that on my wall elevation I'm getting an extra 6" (see red circle). Click image for larger version.

A minor problem is that my imported images (ie paintings) somehow end up on my wall elevation though they're in a different room.

    Thanks in advance,
    Susan

    Hey Susan,

I'm sure if you made a more careful measurement you would find that the overall height that you see is really 97-1/8 if you haven't changed your defaults to something else. You can check it quickly by clicking on a Soffit. Sit it on the floor and make the height 90" you will see that it fits floor to ceiling.

How do I get rid of the extra 7 1/8"

    Hi Rick,

Is the wall elevation showing me more than just the wall from floor to ceiling? I'm not sure why/where the extra 7 1/8" is coming from.

Yes, the ceiling is the lower line in your elevation drawing.
If you look at your wall in a cross-section you might understand it better.

Why do you have an interior and exterior wall next to the sink cabinets?

Even when I change my ceiling height to 90" the wall elevation still has an extra 6". Is there any way to not include the ceiling on my wall elevation?

I had changed the ceiling height to 8' on a different .plan file and the wall elevation had the correct wall height (didn't include the ceiling) but it doesn't seem to help on this one. I can't figure out the difference.

    Hey zw

It will show in elevation view even if you make the wall invisible.
