Flat roof with pitch?

How does one create a flat roof with pitch where the rooms below are cathedral to that roof?

This depends on which version of the software you are using.

If you are using PRO 6 (or soon PRO 7) you can do this with custom ceiling planes.

In the other Home Designer products cathedral ceilings follow the pitch of the roof plane.

If I understand the question correctly I don't know of a way to do this with Deluxe.

As I understand it you want to create a flat roof and have a vaulted ceiling below the flat roof. In PRO 6 or 7 you would be able to create a flat roof and place custom ceiling planes in the room below to form the vault.

Custom roof and ceiling planes are only available in Home Designer PRO and Chief Architect Base, and Full versions.
