    multi level floor plans

I'm doing some remodeling of my home, it is multi level, mostly slab except for the main living area level. What's the bes approach to build my floor plans? Many levels are just 3-5 steps from to to another.

Typical multi levels can be constructed by changing the floor height for individual rooms. For example the entry might be 0, and a level up might be 48, a level down could be -48.

Separate each area with walls or invisible walls or railings.

    Thanks,
That helped with the floors, but what about common walls between levels? Which level is best to show the wall on if it's shared by two different rooms on two different levels?

From a technical aspect I don't think it really matters. I think you would probably be best trying to keep rooms that are near to the same level on the same level but then there are situations where you might have a basement room that is at the same height as a first floor room on another part of the plan. In this situation it might be better to represent foundation rooms on the foundation level and first floor rooms on the first floor level. I think it is more personal preference at that point and what kind of plan you are trying to create.
