Walls won't touch ground

I'm using L&D Designer 7.04a - I have a problem: I'm adding new walls to my design, but the new walls won't touch the ground!

They hover there about a foot or so above the terrain - all the walls and structures I've made in the past are fine...

...where's the feature to lower the new walls to touch the ground?

And how do you adjust the height on free-standing walls?

Have you built a foundation yet? The walls will normally not go all the way down to the ground until you have built a foundation. If you build a foundation and then add new walls, then the new walls will not have a foundation under them. In this case, you will need to delete the foundation and build a new one. You could also edit the foundation walls, but I find it easier to just delete and rebuild.
