i am new and have some questions

I had installed the BHG interior designer back in Nov. 07. I was going to work on it tonight and found that the desktop icon was gone. I went into the control panel and it must have been removed from the programs. I tried reinstalling the program and when I insert the tutorial cd disk 1 (which is the directions in the instruction manual ), not all of the registration info come up. It goes straigh to the license agreement and then to the destination location. It doesnt give me the option to install. What could be the problem?
