adding new backgrounds
I'm using Interior Designer 7.08, and I want to add a photo of New York City to my library so I can set it as my background.
I'm trying to add it under Backdrops -> my backdrops
Can someone tell me how to do it?

Hi socal,
Welcome to the forum.
You might try the following:
Backdrops are images that can be selected to display in 3D views. See Backdrop Tab. A backdrop can be added to the library by importing an image file from anywhere on your computer.
Select File> Import> Backdrop to open the Import Backdrop File dialog, which is similar to the Import Picture File dialog. See Import Picture File Dialog.
Browse to an image file on your computer; select it; and click Open. This backdrop can now be found in the My Backdrops library.
Multiple backdrops can be added to the library simultaneously by copying them into the My Backdrops folder using Windows Explorer. To make them visible in the Library Browser without closing and reopening the program, click the Refresh Library Browser button.Last edited by daydreamer; 03-06-2008 at 02:58 PM.

From the HD program you should
Select File> Import> Backdrop
An Import Backdrop File dialog box will open
Find the folder on you computer you have your photo in.
Click on it then click on OK.
Now go into your plan and select 3D then 3D settings then Backdrop then Select Backdrop. A select Library Object dialog box will open. Click on My Backdrops, your picture should be in there.
