Creating textures..
Pic should be fairly obvious. Any way to make this work with my software?

Yep, open up the item with the rainbow tool, click on edit, and then stretch to fit.

By the way, you aren't "creating" textures. You are creating a material.
The texture is the photo image that you are making into a "material"

The legs might still look strange..
