'S' Symbol showing up in Foundation views
Help
I am getting this 'S' symbol showing up in my foundatoin plan and 3D views that won't go away. I recall reading a little about what it stands for in other posts but cant remember is the is a way to get rid of it. Its like it causes the footer of a shallower area of the total foundation (like the crawl space) to creep down the wall of the deeper basement walls. Any help appreciated.

Dave,
Find you Wall Defaults or look in your help for Step Footings.
Un-select the S in the Wall Defaults dialog box.

Wouldn't you be better to correct your plan until they go away where not wanted. (when all levels are equal they disappear as they indicate foundation steps)
or
Is it you just don't want to see them?Last edited by Larry; 03-28-2008 at 04:05 PM.
