Want cabinet snap to counter edge, not near wall

Go to Edit>Preference>CAD>Snap Properties
Set the Snap Distance to 0

Yup, I unchecked all the snap settings under Preferences > CAD > Snap Properties. I would of thought if ALL Object Snaps are not checked, then the Snap Distance would make no difference if 0 or 1000000000000000. Go figure.

Also, when I tried 0, "it" changes it to 1 and it still snaps.

Whoud there happen to be a (d) next to the 1, if so remove it.
