Pictures of transoms, how do I correct?

I don't know if I am using the correct name for these windows but I don't think I am doing them right. I am using a regular window and making them 12" for the height. If that is correct, how do you change the top? Also, I just want one piece of glass. Also, how do you add a transom to the side of a front door? The first picture in in the front of the house and the other one is the back side of the house. Both of these are in the addition part of the house.

Doors come with all the fancy windows. Look for them in the libraries.

    Lites tab
If you don't have a doorway in the library, use either windows or skinny glass doors on the side of the door.

    Sue,
To get the one piece window select Fixed Glass as the window type. Adjust the Casing width and remove the Sill to get the look you want.

The windows on the side of the doors are called Side Lites. If the glass is going to be full length I use a Fixed Glass window. If the side lite has a wood panel about on the bottom half and glass on the top, I use a door. Door Style = Glass and Door Type = hinged.

Rick--For the window I could change to fixed glass and I changed the Casing width from 2 1/2" to 1 1/2" but cannot find the Sill.

I used the same (at least I think I did) door and set it to 12". Thank you for that.

Pro has a few doors with transom and side lites built in. Does Suite not have a few styles of them? They wre located in a slightly different spot than the normal doors though. Been a while now.

    OK...

In Pro I find them under "Doorways", just past "Doors". There are "doors with transoms" and "door without transoms"

Sure would be a lot easier if you would co-operate and have them...LOL

UNFORTUNATELY -- and I am serious -- they are Interior doors only. The one they show (at least in Pro) does let you change it to "act" like a door.

    These are door ways!

Doors have to be placed in them. Doors are an option the same as glas style and the rest of the features.

I think after using the software for a week we can manage that.

Well if you can get those doorways to handle doors let everyone know how you did it; I have tried for the last couple of years to superimpose one doorway into the same area that a door is occupying.

Doors are just an option you have to select from the doorway dbx.

Now I am using Pro so I don't know about Suite. Perhaps you did all the research from Suite and since upgraded???
