    the lowered floor box is not clickable(shaded) on 2nd floor defaults

    lowered ceiling heights box in second floor defaults is non clickable(shaded out) i found the break line gizmo and doing a little on the job training now!

    Did yo try to build it like a 1-1/2 story? If not you are probably better off clicking on the Floor Tool tool button, then while on the 2nd floor click the Delete Current Floor.

    Then click on the Floor Tool doubleton and rebuild the 2nd floor by deriving from the 1st floor.

    im going to try deleting the 2nd floor and redoing. thanks for the heads-up on the line break- im now a master roof breaker!!

    one last item! after deleting 2nd floor i notice a few walls left in the attic layer.ive got a feeling these raise havic on the rebuild. any idea how i make them gone? thanks wayne

    wayne,

    Because you have Auto Rebuild Roof unselected (Off) go into the Attic level and click on a wall, press and hold the Shift key while you select and click on the remaining walls. When all the walls have been selected press the Delete key. The Attic walls won't rebuild until you rebuild the 2nd floor.

    wayneriley, have you rebuilt the walls/floors/ceilings at any time during all these manual modifications? F12 key.
