Thread: Trees in AHD 8?

I tried it in Pro and "Plants" is your object switch for trees.

I can place a tree in 2d and 'open it'. The correct path shows to the image file, but there isn't an image displayed. If I click on the browse button to that file name an image shows up on the 'Plant Image Specification' and in 3D as well...but what a pain to have to search for each one... is there a trick to get them to 'self load??

Looks like your install messed up on you somehow.
There is a way to set file access locations, in my Pro version, anyway.
Pulldown menu edit > preferences > general > directories. My library location says "C:\Program Files\Chief Architect Inc\Home Designer Pro 7.0\Libraries\" You will need to make it match your install.
You should be able to paste the valid directory name in the box, crazy girl.

Don't have that option in AHD 8.0.... but while looking for preferences I discovered the Refresh button for the Library ... and whaddya know... I have trees!!
