Hi CDS,
I am considering purchasing Home Designer Pro 8.0.
Can you please tell me if it has Ray-Tracing capabilities (I couldn't tell from the pdf brochures or the screenshots) or whether it is possible to export to POV-Ray?

Pro 8 does not have Ray Trace. You would need Chief Architect for that.

Agreed. Sorry, no Ray Trace. I haven't tried a Final Render, so I don't know if they've snuck in some tweeks to their rendering engine.
