Joining existing Roof to new Roof

    Hi:

The attachments show a drawing of a cottage on a crawl space that is being raised and put on basement. The light colored shingles indicates the existing cottage and the gray indicates additions. I not satisfied with the roof over the deck and the roof over the side door. I am just throwing this out for ideas. The lot is very narrow (50’ x 147’) which limits the design. I’m not sure how to join the new roof to the existing roof so the existing roof overhang does not show “inside” the cottage. Any help or comments would be appreciated.

    Thanks
