    "Hiding" Terrain Elevation Lines tip

Hard to believe that I have had Pro 7 since 2005 and it took me this long to find out that you can do this.

I just finished putting in terrain elevation lines for a walk-out basement. Perfection, even if it took me 4 hours to get the lines just so-so.

Then I wanted to hide the elevation lines so I could continue working on the plan's exterior and interior features. But, all those lines. After putting in that much work I didn't want to delete them; figured I should be able to hide them.

Found a thread where in Display Options you can turn off the 2D Terrain Elevation Data. But, when I closed a full render view, all the lines were back. I went back to the Display tool, and found out that if you also uncheck Display from Terrain Primary Contours and Terrain Secondary Contours, you can essentially "hide" the elevation lines.

This is a good thing to know.

    Thanks

I kept looking for some sort of "Hide Terrain" button that would take those lines away while I worked on the rest of the project.
