Adding Borders W/BH&G HD Suite 7.09
I cannot figure out how to add borders on this program anywhere. Is this possible or am I bound to looking unprofessional until i upgrade to the Pro edition?
Thanks,

I'm not sure how limited Suite version 7 is in the way of CAD tools, but you should be able to create almost anything with the CAD tools if you've got boxes, lines, circles, etc. Or you could import picture images of a particular border if you know that it works with a particular page size. Or you could create borders and print it out in the paper first and then use the same paper to print out the design . . .

Good Idea!! Didnt think about it that way. When I say borders I was meaning the column on the right side of all Blueprints that denotes the company who produced them and the revision. Is that what you were talking about?

You're talking about creating a Title Block (or bar or a few other names)?
See pic below ...
Use the Text Tool to 'build' all the segments, and then group them /rotate them and get whatever look you would like. I keep a standard one that I'll update per project, and then 'marquee select' (control>H) to grab and copy the whole thing to drop onto whatever pages I need.Last edited by VegasDave; 06-19-2008 at 05:21 PM.
