Deck Materials List Way Out of Whack
I just bought BH&G Landscaping and Deck Designer 7.0 yesterday and drew up a floorplan for a deck. I generated a materials list and it told me that one of the items in my list, 2x6x16 boards, I needed 1,312 of them. When you apply the local price to them, it comes out to $9,170.88. Needless to say, this is not even close to realistic.
What could be wrong? Did I do something wrong, or did I just waste my money buying this software?
